Paynter Comes Through Latest Surgery Successfully

Friday, 5th October 2012

Following the removal of a "15-inch external growth" from his intestines during surgery performed yesterday, US Gr1 Haskell Invitation winner Haskell appears on the road to recovery, reports bloodhorse.com. Also runner-up in the Gr1 Belmont Stakes, Paynter developed laminitis in three hooves early in September and his survival appeared touch and go for some weeks.
