At Belmont in the US, multiple Gr1-winning stallion & former shuttler Hat Trick (Sunday Silence-Tricky Code, by Lost Code) added a US Gr1 success when King David (Hat Trick-Storm West, by Gone West) scored by 0.5-lengths for trainer Mike Maker in the US$400,000 Gr1 Jamaica Handicap (1800m) for 3YO colts and geldings, over King Kreesa (King Cugat-Storm's Advance, by Storm Creek) & Summer Front (War Front-Rose Of Summer, by El Prado). Recording his first win at stakes-level, King David took his record to 6 wins & a runner-up from 11 starts.
