Wadham Park Opens For Breaking & Pre-Training

Tuesday, 9th October 2012

Tylden-based state-of-the-art former Wadham Park training establishment in Victoria has been opened as a breaking in, pre-training and rehabilitation facility by Woodside Park Stud. In continuing the restructuring of the company operations, Woodside Park (whose bloodstock manager is Murray Tillett) has been joined by young horseman Matty Upton to oversee the newly developed pre-training and breaking in division. The facilities at the Tylden property include an aqua walker, horse swimming pool, 1800m pro ride track and two walking machines, providing owners and trainers with an additional pre training option just 50 minutes from Melbourne. In addition a transport service is available with two trucks capable of picking up and dropping off horses for trainers' convenience.
