German Stud Farm To Stand Montjeu Gr1 Winner

One time Melbourne Cup raider Jukebox Jury (Montjeu-Mare Aux Fees, by Kenmare) has been sold to Gestüt Etzean and will begin his stallion career at the German stud next year, reports racingpost.com. The 6YO grey entire suffered a fractured leg in the Melbourne Cup and re-injured it in training a few months ago and was retired. Jukebox Jury is the winner of 9 races (including the Gr1 Irish St Leger at his start prior to the 2011 Melbourne Cup, the 2009 Gr1 Preis von Europa, Gr2 Prix Kergorlay, Gr2 Newmarket Jockey Club Stakes, Gr2 Grand Prix de Deauville, Gr2 Royal Lodge Stakes & Gr3 Rose of Lancaster Stakes) from 22 starts. A €270,000 yearling, Jukebox Jury will stand for €5,500.
