Gr1 Winner Dialed In Retired To Darby Dan
Florida Derby winner Dialed In (Mineshaft-Miss Doolittle, by Storm Cat) has been retired and will stand the 2013 season at Darby Dan Farm near Lexington, reports www.bloodhorse.com. Winner of 3 of his 7 starts and nearly US$1 million, Dialed In has been acquired by a group led by Doug Cauthen Thoroughbred Management, and Robert Hammond (general manager of Darby Dan Farm). His racing owner Robert LePenta has retained a share. Hammond said, "We are actively striving to strengthen our stallions and sales divisions at Darby Dan, and any time you can add a pair of exciting Gr1 winners like Dialed In and Shackleford to a growing stallion roster, it plays a key role in that process. We've assembled a great team here at Darby Dan."
