Khalid Abdullah Calls Time On Frankel's Career

Owner Prince Khalid Abdullah confirmed Frankel had run his last race and will be retired to stud at England's Banstead Manor. He told racingpost.com, "That is the end of it and he will retire." A fee is yet to be announced. Regular jockey Tom Queally who has ridden Frankel in all his 14 starts said, "I'm so proud of him. It's been an amazing journey and I can't tell you what it means to be part of it". And his trainer Sir Henry Cecil commented: "He's the best I've ever had and the best I've ever seen. I'd be very surprised if there's ever been better."
