Deep Brillante Retired To Shadai

Tuesday, 30th October 2012

Gr1 Tokyo Yushun winner Deep Brillante (Deep Impact-Love and Bubbles, by Loup Sauvage) has been retired to Shadai Stallion Station with trainer Yoshito Yahagi lamenting: "It's a terrible shame that the fans won't be able to see him race again. But, considering that he is a Thoroughbred athlete, I believe it is important that he be retired. The little more than a year that I spent with this horse has been like a dream and for me he was nothing short of a treasure. The dream of winning overseas is one I will entrust to his sons and daughters and I ask for your support of them at the racecourse."  The 3YO colt won 3 of his 7 starts for earnings of ¥292,056,000.
