Preakness Winner Debut Fee Set At US$20,000

Still in the US, 2011 Gr1 Preakness Stakes winner Shackleford (Forestry-Oatsee, by Unbridled) has had his initial fee set at US$20,000 when he joins the Darby Dan stallion roster in 2013, reports bloodhorse.com. The 4YO entire is likely to have his final career start in the Gr1 Norton Healthcare at Churchill Downs on November 23rd. The full Darby Dan line-up follows:

  • Shackleford (US$20,000)
  • Tale of Ekati (US$15,000)
  • Dialed In (US$7,500) – also new
  • Perfect Soul (US$7,500)
  • American Lion (US$5,000)
  • Magna Graduate (US$5,000)
  • Run Away and Hide (US$5,000)
