Champion Ashado US Hall Of Fame Finalist

Dual champion & 7-time Gr1-winner Ashado (Saint Ballado-Goulash) is one of 4 thoroughbreds that are finalists for this year's National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. According to bloodhorse.com, the other three horses for voters to consider are 4-time Gr1 winner Lure (Danzig—Endear, by Alydar), dual Champion Sprinter and former NZ shuttler Housebuster (Mt. Livermore—Big Dreams, by Great Above) and 2006 Horse-Of-The-Year Invasor (Candy Stripes-Quendom, by Interprete). The induction ceremony will be at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 9 at the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion in Saratoga Springs. Also up for consideration are jockeys Chris Antley, Calvin Borel, Garrett Gomez, Craig Perret & Alex Solis, plus trainer Gary Jones.
