Inglis Melb Premier Day-1: Average Holds Firm

On Day-1 of the 2013 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale at Oaklands selling concluded with the average ($72,722) almost line-ball with 2012's opening session ($73,392). With a diverse buying bench competing, 81 lots were sold for $5,890,500 at a median of $60,000 ($65,000 in 2012) and a clearance rate of 74 percent. "It was solid start to the sale with a similar average, median and clearance rate recorded to day one last year," said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster.
