Investigators Appointed By Racing NSW

Racing NSW has announced the appointment of two leading investigators to head the new Investigations and Surveillance Unit, which is set to complement the work of the Racing NSW Stewards Panel and administrate its proactive agenda towards ensuring industry integrity. Nathan Hayward, boasting 15 years experience in law enforcement, as well as a period serving with the NSW Police Force, has been appointed chief investigator. More recently Howard also worked with the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) where he was involved in every major investigation conducted by ICAC. Meanwhile, Albert Gardner has been appointed to the position of racecourse detective & compliance officer. An experienced regulator, Gardner has been a designated a detective & investigator with Federal and State agencies including NSW Police Force, Australian Federal Police, National Crime Authority, NSW Crime Commission, NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and NSW Royal Commission into the Building Industry.
