Inglis Melb Premier Day-3: Arrowfield Sires Share Honours

Wednesday, 6th March 2013

Prominent Arrowfield Stud stallions Redoute's Choice & his son Not A Single Doubt shared Day-3 honours at the Inglis Melbourne Premier. New Zealand agent Tony Pike set the early running when successful at $300,000 on Fairhill Farm's Not A Single Doubt colt from Euchre (by Final Card), a half-brother to multiple Singaporean stakes winner World Airlines (by Umatilla) and his stakes-placed brother Alacarte. Only 40 lots later, however, the highly regarded Redoute's Choice yearling (ex Glimmers, by Success Express) from Lauriston Thoroughbreds matched the $300,000 mark when falling to the bid of Nordic Racing & Breeding. The striking colt is a half-brother to Australasia's Top Filly of the 2006-2007 season Gold Edition (by Lion Hunter), winner of both the Gr1 Ascot Vale Stakes & Gr1 Manikato Stakes.
