Rangal Park Sire Keltrice Succumbs To Old Age
In Victoria, 22YO Rangal Park stallion Keltrice (Kenmare-Vain Display, by Vain) has been euthanased "due to the infirmities of old age". Winner of the Gr1 Lightning Stakes & runner-up in the Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes, Keltrice stood at Rangal Park since 1995 from where he has sired 330 winners (of 1,062 races) from 488 runners for over $20 million in earnings. His progeny include 11 stakes winners of 20 stakes events, among them the Group winners Storm Signal, Northeast Sheila & Deprave. In Hong Kong, racing as Billet Express his son won the H.K. Gr1 Chairman's Sprint Prize. Keltrice will be buried at Rangal Park Stud alongside fellow stallion Palace Music and the mare Jovan.
