Also at Sha Tin in Hong Kong, Waikato Stud sire Pins (Snippets-No Finer, by Kaoru Star) added a Gr1 success when twice Hong Kong Horse of the Year 6YO gelding Ambitious Dragon (Pins-Golden Gamble, by Oregon) scored by 2.5 lengths for trainer Tony Millard in the HK$6 million Gr1 Queen's Silver Jubilee Cup (1400m) for 3YO+, over 5YO geldings Time After Time (Danehill Dancer-Recurring, by Pentire) & Glorious Days (Hussonet-San Century, by Centaine). Ambitious Dragon (passed-in for NZ$47,500 as a yearling at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Select Sale at Karaka) took his record to 13 wins (also including 2012's Gr1 Hong Kong Mile, Gr1 Hong Kong Gold Cup & Gr1 Stewards Cup, 2011's Gr1 Hong Kong Derby, Gr1 Hong Kong Classic Cup & Gr1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup) & 5 placings (including 2012's Gr1 Champions & Chater Cup) from 25 starts.
