Providing his Arrowfield Stud sire Not A Single Doubt (Redoute's Choice-Single's Bar, by Rory's Jester) with his 16th stakes-winner and 5th individual stakes-winner in the past 3 weeks, undefeated colt Cruden Bay (Not a Single Doubt-Zimaretto, by Anabaa) scored a 2-lengths victory for trainer Anthony Freedman at Moonee Valley in the $121,000 Listed St Albans Stakes (1200m) for 3YOs, over fellow colts Gracious Prospect (Tale of the Cat-Lady Gracious, by Redoute's Choice) & Excitable Boy (More Than Ready-Sequential, by Lion Hunter). Cruden Bay (a $60,000 yearling consigned by Brooklyn Lodge at the 2012 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale) took his record to 2 wins from 2 starts for $83,500 earnings.
