At Sydney's Warwick Farm, deceased dual Gr1-winning former Widden Stud stallion General Nediym (Nediym-Military Belle, by Without Fear) added a stakes success when the filly Ichihara (General Nediym-Cut a Dash, by Whiskey Road) scored by a short neck for trainer Alan Denham in the $100,000 Listed Eskimo Prince Stakes (1200m) for 3YOs, over the geldings Heart Testa (Testa Rossa-Graciela, by Flying Spur) & Limes (Commands-Rum Cruise, by Canny Lad). Ichihara took her record to 5 wins (including 2012's Listed Heritage Stakes & Gr2 Magic Night Stakes) & 2 placings (including last start's Gr2 Light Fingers Stakes) from 11 starts for $390,600 earnings.
