In the third of three stakes-races at Melbourne's Moonee Valley last Friday evening, Eliza Park's multiple Gr1-winning sire Bel Esprit (Royal Academy-Bespoken, by Vain) added a black-type success when ultra-consistent 4YO mare Loveyamadly (Bel Esprit-Beauty World, by Danehill Dancer) scored a short half-head win for trainer Mick price in the $121,000 Listed Australia Abell Stakes (1200m) for 3YOs+, over 4YO geldings Go the Knuckle (Elvstroem-Zefta, by Zeditave) & It is Written (Written Tycoon-Winning Team, by Danehill Dancer). Loveyamadly (a $60,000 yearling at the 2010 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale) took her record to 6 wins & 3 placings (including runner-up in February's Gr3 Geoffrey Bellmaine Stakes at Caulfield) from 9 starts for $293,388 earnings.
