Tremec Wins Listed Randwick City Stakes

At Warwick Farm in Sydney, NZ Cambridge Stud's multiple champion sire Zabeel (Sir Tristram-Lady Giselle, by Nureyev) added a black-type success when 4YO gelding Tremec (Zabeel-Tipple, by Stravinsky) scored a short-head victory for trainer John Thompson in the $100,000 Listed Randwick City Stakes (2200m), over 5YO gelding Permit (Dansili-Cochin, by Swain) & 8YO gelding Gazza Guru (Street Cry-Proud Halo, by Don't Say Halo). Earning his first black-type success, Tremec (a NZ$400,000 yearling at the 2010 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka) took his record to 5 wins & 2 runners-up from 14 starts for $154,040 earnings.
