Also at The Curragh in Ireland, triple Gr1-winning former English Derby victor & Darley shuttler Authorized (Montjeu-Funsie, by Saumarez) added a Gr1 triumph when 4YO mare Ambivalent (Authorized–Darrery, by Darshaan) scored a half-length victory for trainer Richar Varian in the €200,000 G1 Pretty Polly Stakes (10 furlongs) for 3YO+ f&m, over fellow 4YO mares Was (Galileo-Alluring Park, by Green Desert) & Shirocco Star (Shirocco-Spectral Star, by Unfuwain). A 24,000 guineas yearling at the 2010 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, Ambivalent took her record to 4 wins (also including the Listed Chalice Stakes at Newmarket) & 3 placings (including last start's Gr3 Pinnacle Stakes at Haydock, Gr2 Middleton Stakes at York & Listed Aphrodite Stakes at Newmarket) from 10 starts for £161,291 earnings.
