Incentive Scheme Behind Moody Satellite Stable

Thursday, 4th July 2013

Trainer Moody's acquisition of 24 boxes at Randwick – he has had a smaller set-up at Rosehill – has been predicated by the rich BOBS incentive scheme available to NSW-bred horses, reveals news.com.au. Among Moody's key clients are several prominent NSW breeders who would benefit from having their horses earning BOBS bonuses. Moody acknowledged: "I'd rather win 50 races in Melbourne and 40 in Sydney than 90 in Melbourne and win a premiership." With a 4th Melbourne premiership looking likely, Moody said: "We've done the premiership thing now, it's ticked off the resume." With stables in both States, Moody will also be able to target the equally enticing Super VOBIS & VOBIS Gold incentives in Victoria.
