Goffs Appoints Mark Player As Aust Agent

Irish sales company Goffs has announced the appointment of well-known Australian identity Mark Player as the company's Australasian agent, reports racingpost.com. Previously with the Hong Kong Jockey Club up until a few years ago, Player has been retained by the HKJC as a consultant to recruit international runners for their major racemeetings. Player also manages Highclere Racing Syndicates and represents Arrowfield Stud in the Asian racing markets. Goffs chief executive Henry Beeby stated, "Mark Player is the strongest candidate we could have hoped for to best represent Goffs in Australasia. His contacts, together with his knowledge and experience of the international racing and breeding industry is unrivalled, and we are delighted to further strengthen our team of international Goffs agents with someone of Mark's calibre..."
