Giant Gizmo Sires First Stakes Winner

At Woodbine in Canada, juvenile colt Spin The King (Giant Gizmo-Muriel, by Bold Executive) became his sire's first stakes winner when scoring by a nose for trainer Brian Lynch in the C$150,000 Clarendon Stakes (1100m) for 2YOs, over fellow colts Go Greeley (Horse Greeley-Orchids Halo, by Smoke Glacken) & Maritime Pulpit (Pulpit-Maritime Passion, by Stormy Atlantic). Giant Gizmo is a 9YO dual Gr3-winning son of Giant's Causeway and stands at Adena Springs in Ontario, Canada for C$4,000. During an 11-start career, he won the Gr3 Alysheba Stakes at Churchill Downs & the Gr3 Lone Star Park Handicap at Lone Star Park at his final start. He is currently Canada's leading first-crop sire.
