Ryan Keen To Take Snitzerland To Ascot

Tuesday, 16th July 2013

As has been widely reported, classy 3YO sprinting filly Snitzerland (Snitzel-Monte Rosa, by Fraar) will be restricted to a light campaign this spring with a view to competing at Royal Ascot next year. Trainer Gerald Ryan has confirmed that the Gr2-winning daughter of Arrowfield stallion Snitzel will have only two starts this spring, naming the Gr2 McEwan Stakes, Gr2 Schillaci Stakes, Gr1 Manikato Stakes & the Gr1 Patinack as the races he has in mind. Snitzerland's connections, which includes leviathan owner Neil Werrett, have expressed a desire to take her to Royal Ascot if she can win a Gr1 and gain an invitation.
