Sea Siren Possibility For Breeders' Cup

Tuesday, 16th July 2013

Meanwhile, Gr1-winning Australian-bred 4YO mare Sea Siren (Fastnet Rock-Express A Smile, by Success Express) could potentially contest the US Breeders' Cup meeting at the end of the year, according to news.com.au. The recent acquisition for Coolmore won her first race for Ballydoyle trainer Aidan O'Brien over the weekend with a comfortable victory in the Listed Belgrave Stakes (6 furlongs) at Fairyhouse in Ireland. Michael Kirwan, general manager of Coolmore Australia, commented: "It was great to see Sea Siren back in the winning groove... There are lots of options for her now, including the Gr1 Prix Maurice De Gheest in three weeks at Deauville."
