Hard Spun Adds US Black-Type

At Monmouth Park in the US, Gr1-winning Darley shuttler & 2007 Gr1 Kentucky Derby runner-up Hard Spun (Danzig-Turkish Tryst, by Turkoman) added a black-type success when 3YO colt Hard Enough (Hard Spun-Grecian Wings, by Mr Greeley) scored by 1.5-lengths for trainer B. Dibona in the US$63,000 Listed Jersey Stakes (8.5 furlongs) for 3YOs, over the gelding Reporting Star (Circular Quay - Classic Beauty, by Sword Dance) & colt Shining Copper (Aragorn-La Minuta, by Winged Victory). Hard Enough notched his first stakes win in boosting his record to 3 wins & 3 placings from 14 starts.
