Ruud Awakening Back In Great Shape

Tuesday, 23rd July 2013

Gr1-winning juvenile filly Ruud Awakening (Bernardini-Dawn Almighty, by Danehill) is coming along nicely as she prepares for her 3YO season, reports nztm.co.nz. The NZ-trained filly has been back in work for six weeks in readiness for a spring campaign that will kick off in Melbourne on either 31st August or September 7th. Cambridge horseman Stephen Marsh reports the Gr1 ARC Diamond Stakes (1200m) winner has been working in good style ahead of her return. "She has just done everything right so far and has really strengthened up after her break," noted Marsh. "At this stage we are looking to give her a jump-out here at Cambridge next month before she heads to Melbourne... I just couldn't be happier with her."
