It's A Dundeel Impresses In Track Gallop

Wednesday, 24th July 2013

The Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained It's A Dundeel (High Chaparral-Stareel, by Zabeel) impressed onlookers when working over 600 metres at Cambridge yesterday morning, reports NZ Racing Desk. "He spelled really well and he's grown and filled out… I'm very happy with him at this stage," commented Baker. "Next week he'll start to pick it up. He's only had a couple of little breeze alongs over 600m so far and he'll likely have a jump out at Cambridge next week." The son of High Chaparral is set to make his racetrack reappearance in either the Gr1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on August 31 or a week later in the Gr1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) at Flemington.
