Taylor Made Buys Into Gr1 Winner Graydar
Leading US operation Taylor Made Stallions, in Nicholasville, Kentucky, has purchased a share in Gr1 winner Graydar (Unbridled's Song-Sweetest Smile, by Dehere), reports bloodhorse.com. The acquisition is a timely one for Taylor Made following the loss of Graydar's sire Unbridled's Song just over a week ago. Taylor Made president and CEO Duncan Taylor stated he always believed Graydar would be a suitable heir for Unbridled's Song. "Graydar is the closest thing I've seen to Unbridled's Song, and obviously we've had the privilege to be around a lot of good ones through the years," commented Taylor. "Graydar's combination of looks, class, and sheer brilliance remind me of his sire, both on and off the racetrack, and he has that special presence about him like Unbridled's Song had... we've always felt that he would be a great heir to carry on his terrific sire line." Graydar has shown huge promise in his short career to date winning 4 of his 5 starts including the Gr1 Donn Handicap at Gulfstream. His primary goal this year is the Gr1 Breeders' Cup Classic in November.
