A Winner Per Day For Bel Esprit In New Season

Wednesday, 7th August 2013

While it's early days for the new season, a great start has been made by stallion Bel Esprit (Royal Academy-Bespoken, by Vain), the sire of recently retired champion sprinter Black Caviar. He sits atop the Australian sires table just six days into the new season, with an average of one winner per day. The resident Eliza Park stallion's 6 winners have earned prize money of $123,590, placing him ahead of Keltrice (2), Mossman (3), Encosta de Lago (3), Al Maher (3) & newly crowned Champion Australia Sire Exceed And Excel (3). Bel Esprit, described by John Symons as the fastest horse he has ever trained, will stand this season at a fee of $27,500 with a live foal guarantee.
