Innovative Arlington Promotion By Lincoln Farm
NSW's Lincoln Farm has unveiled an innovative offer for its Red Ransom stallion Arlington (Red Ransom-Savannah Success by Success Express) this season. Announcing the scheme, Lincoln Farm principal Nick Posa revealed: "If broodmare owners don't want their 2014 foal by Arlington, we will buy it back at weaning for twice the service fee paid... Obviously, we don't expect any takers but it indicates the confidence we have in Arlington." A Gr1-performed half-brother to Gr1 Cox Plate hero & successful Waikato Stud sire Savabeel (24 stakes-winners from his first 4 crops), the impeccably bred Arlington was a $1.55 million yearling consigned by Baramul Stud at the 2006 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast. He was well supported in his debut season where he covered 106 mares at a stud fee of $5,500 which remains the same in 2013.
