Electric Opening For Eliza Park International
An impressive and glitzy affair at Melbourne's Crown Casino, featuring electronic violin, video presentations and a state-of-the-art laser display, formally announced newly formed Eliza Park International to the Australian thoroughbred centre stage. In excess of 300 of Australia's key representatives, including breeders, owners, trainers and administrators, together with a large contingent of owners from Hong Kong and Macau, attended the gala event. Eliza Park International's new owner, Mr Ting Kong Cheng, one of China's most successful businessmen and racing devotee, and Mr Chau, Chairman of the Sun International Group, were also present. The clear message of the night was on the promising future of Eliza Park International and the Australian racing industry in general, with both the Australian racing and breeding communities welcoming Sun International Group's purchasing of Eliza Park International. Especially exciting is the promise of new racing relationships being forged throughout Asia and the expansive economic growth and related benefits to the Australian racing industry on the horizon.
