Galileo Adds France Black-Type

At Le-Lion D'Angers in France, former shuttler & Gr1 English Derby winner Galileo (Sadler's Wells-Urban Sea, by Miswaki) added a black-type success when Swiss-bred colt Vanishing Cupid (Galileo-Vanishing Prairie, by Alysheba) scored a 2.5-lengths victory for trainer Henri-Alex Pantall in the €55,000 Listed Grand Prix du Lion D'Angers (2000m) for 3YOs, over fellow colt Royal Law (Lawman-Queen Of The Game, by Montjeu) & the filly Kenbella (Kendargent-Nebela, by Bernebeau). Earning his first stakes win, Vanishing Cupid took his record to 3 wins & a placing (in last start's Listed Prix Ridgway at Chantilly) from 5 starts for €61,650 earnings.
