Michael Tabor Buys Into Leading Prix Morny Hope
Leviathan UK racehorse owner Michael Tabor has purchased a share in the undefeated US-bred 2YO No Nay Never (Scat Daddy-Cat's Eye Witness, by Elusive Quality), reports sportinglife.com. The Wesley Ward-trained colt, who was a brilliant winner of the Gr2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot in June, will carry Tabor's colours when he contests the Gr1 Prix Morny (6 furlongs) at Deauville this weekend. Ward believes No Nay Never has improved since Ascot but is concerned that his rivals have too. "He's settled in at Deauville beautifully, he breezed sensationally the other day with Olivier Peslier," said Ward. "Before Ascot I was really confident…but this time a lot of the better juveniles have come out and it will be a tougher race, they may have caught him up." Ward added that should No Nay Never win the Prix Morny, "We'll discuss races like the Breeders' Cup."
