At Salisbury in the UK, dual Gr1-winning shuttler Holy Roman Emperor (Danehill-L'On Vite, by Secretariat) added a stakes success when 3YO filly Mango Diva (Holy Roman Emperor-Mango Mischief, by Desert King) scored by a half-length for trainer Sir Michael Stoute in the £42,500 Listed Upavon Fillies Stakes (10 furlongs) for 3YO+ f&m, over 4YO mare Hippy Hippy Shake (Danehill Dancer-Hyperspectra, by Rainbow Quest) & fellow 3YO filly Rock Choir (Pivotal-Choir Mistress, by Chief Singer). In landing her maiden black-type victory, Mango Diva took her record to 2 wins & 2 placings (including the Listed Heron Stakes) from 5 starts for £36,901 earnings.
