Capo Bastone Wins US Gr1 King's Bishop

At Saratoga in the US, multiple US Gr1-winning sprinter & 8YO Darley freshman shuttler Street Boss (Street Cry-Blushing Ogygian, by Ogygian) added a Gr1 success when 3YO colt Capo Bastone (Street Boss-Fight to Love, by Fit to Fight) scored by 2-lengths for trainer Todd Pletcher in the US$500,000 Gr1 King's Bishop Stakes (7 furlongs) for 3YOs, over fellow colts Mentor Cane (Mizzen Mast-Vixana, by Gone West) & Central Banker (Speightstown-Rhum, by Go for Gin). In a shock 27-1 result, Capo Bastone finally lived up to his potential by claiming his maiden Gr1 triumph taking his record to 3 wins & 3 placings (including the Gr1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile & Gr1 Frontrunner Stakes) from 9 starts. The victory provided Street Boss with his maiden Gr1 winner.
