DBS Premier Sale: Best Turnover Since 2008
At the conclusion of Session-2 of the annual Doncaster Bloodstock Sales Premier Sale overnight in the UK, DBS managing director Henry Beeby had cause to celebrate with the aggregate turnover the highest since 2008's renewal. No horses reached £200,000 in the ring last year, however in 2013 there were four, helping to push the average up 21 percent and past £32,000. The median also enjoyed a significant rise, the final figure of £25,000 reflecting a 25 percent increase, while the clearance rate finished at a strong 90 percent.
