Oliver Comeback Nine Days Away

Wednesday, 4th September 2013

Jockey Damien Oliver, who was issued with a 10-month riding ban for placing a $10,000 bet on a rival horse (Miss Octopussy) at Moonee Valley in November 2010, will return to the saddle at Friday week's Geelong synthetic meeting, reports racenet.com.au. Oliver has received plenty of support from some of Australia's leading trainers including Mick Price who has entrusted Oliver with four mounts for his September 13 return. Oliver's manager Mark Van Triet says he will be capable of riding at 55kg.
