Dalakhani Steals Show At Cornerstone Parade

Thursday, 5th September 2013

Cornerstone Stud's stallion parade last Sunday is reported to have been a tremendous success with the largest turnout seen in years. No doubt many owners and breeders descended on the property formerly known as Lindsay Park to see the Aga Khan's champion racehorse Dalakhani (Darshaan-Daltawa, by Miswaki). Dalakhani, who won 4 Gr1s including Europe's weight-for-age championship the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at his final appearance, is the first Aga Khan-owned stallion to shuttle to Australia. The striking grey is a proven stallion in the northern hemisphere with progeny such as Breeders' Cup Turf winner Conduit, Irish Oaks heroine Moonstone, St Leger victor Duncan & French Derby winner Reliable Man among many high-class individuals. Dalakhani represents a rare opportunity for local breeders to access the Aga Khan's classic bloodlines which have been meticulously refined over many generations. His 2013 service fee is $22,000. Watch the video on Dalakhani below.
