Top Priced War Front Colt Breaks Through

Tuesday, 10th September 2013

Mosler (War Front-Gold Vault, by Arch), a 2YO son of emerging top US stallion War Front, stamped himself as a horse to watch with an impressive 4-length victory at Belmont on the weekend, reports drf.com. Mosler, a half-brother to dual Gr1-winning filly Contested (Ghostzapper), was his sire's highest priced yearling in 2012, fetching US$1.05 million as a Keeneland September yearling. The exciting War Front (Danzig-Starry Dreamer, by Rubiano), who stands at the historic Claiborne Farm in Kentucky, has generated plenty of industry chatter with his remarkable early statistics. Hitherto, he has produced 126 individual winners (23 stakes winners) from just 177 runners worldwide for progeny earnings of over US$17 million, including Gr1 winners Declaration Of War, The Factor, Data Link & Summer Soiree.
