Keeneland Sep Day-6: US$97,341 Average
At Sunday's sixth session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, 290 yearlings were sold for US$28,229,000, up 30.54 per cent on last year's gross of US$21,625,000 (281 horses). The average of US$97,341 rose 26.49 per cent from $76,957 in 2012, while the median of US$80,000 was up 33.33 per cent from last year's figure of US$60,000. The session's highest-priced yearling was a colt by Medaglia d'Oro from the Vindication mare Loving Vindication, which was knocked down to Roy and Gretchen Jackson's Lael Stable for US$385,000.
