Warren Place Speculation Ended By Lady Cecil
Lady Cecil, the wife of the late Sir Henry Cecil, has ended speculation about her late husband's yard by announcing that she will continue to train from the historic Warren Place stables in Newmarket, reports theguardian.com. Lady Cecil extinguished rumours that she would put the premises up for sale, stating that her ambition is to uphold the legacy and tradition set by Sir Henry by winning races at the highest level. Lady Cecil announced on the stable website: "I have spoken to our owners and our staff and confirmed that it is my intention to carry on as trainer at Warren Place. I have talked to the British Horseracing Authority about plans to continue and have signed up to complete the training licence modules through the winter." She continued, "The main aim is to make sure every horse sent here fulfils its potential and I would love to win a Group One so that we can once again raise the flag at Warren Place."
