Wild Coco To Visit Frankel

Thursday, 3rd October 2013

High-class German-bred mare Wild Coco has been retired and will visit former Warren Place stable-mate Frankel at stud next year, reports racinguk.com. Trained by the late Sir Henry Cecil, Wild Coco won 5 of her 9 starts, including the Gr2 Park Hill Stakes & Gr3 Lillie Langtry Stakes (twice), for earnings of £204,824. The 5YO was last seen in action when finishing a brave second to leading Arc fancy Treve in the Gr1 Prix Vermeille at Longchamp. Trainer Lady Cecil commented on sirhenrycecil.com: "Wild Coco has been retired after a very successful career in which she won four Pattern races. She was a high-class filly and we will miss her around Warren Place." She continued, "But she has an exciting future ahead of her as a broodmare, starting with an appointment with Frankel next year."
