Guelph Wins Gr1 Flight Stakes

At Randwick, Darley's incumbent Champion Australian Sire Exceed And Excel (Danehill-Patrona, by Lomond) added a Gr1 triumph when 3YO filly Guelph (Exceed and Excel-Camarilla, by Elusive Quality) scored by 1.8-lengths for trainer Peter Snowden in the $400,000 Gr1 Flight Stakes (1600m) for 3YO fillies, over fellow fillies Sensibility (Redoute's Choice-Fleeting Touch, by Touch Gold) & Bound For Earth (Northern Meteor-Bulla Borghese, by Belong to Me). This was Guelph's third Gr1 victory and took her record to 6 wins (including the Gr1 Sires' Produce Stakes, Gr1 Champagne Stakes & Gr2 Tea Rose Stakes) & 2 placings (including the Gr2 Furious Stakes) from 10 starts for $1,306,200 earnings.
