SAf Star's Return Delayed Until December

Thursday, 10th October 2013

South Africa's highest rated horse in training, Jackson (124) won't be seen until he appears in the Diadem Stakes at Kenilworth on December 28, reports goldcircle.co.za. A R1 million graduate of the South African TBA's National Sale 2YO in Johannesburg, Jackson (Dynasty-Moonlit Prairie, by Cozzene) last raced in the Gr1 Champions Cup (1800m) for 3YOs+ at Greyville where he won by 1.5-lengths. Trainer Brett Crawford noted: "After the way his prep and his campaign went in Durban, we feel that we should do much the same and we have decided that he will only have three races during the Cape summer season. After the Diadem he will run in the L'Ormarins Queen's Plate on January 11 and then the J & B Met three weeks later."
