Chicquita Sister Wins On Debut

Friday, 18th October 2013

Sinnamary, a three-quarter sister to this year's Irish Oaks winner Chicquita (Montjeu-Prudenzia, by Dansili), won her debut in impressive fashion at Longchamp on Wednesday, reports bloodstock.racingpost.com. The daughter of Galileo won the Prix de la Chapelle (9 furlongs) by 1.25-lengths for trainer Mikel Delzangles defeating fellow 2YO fillies Pink Chalice & Ambroisie. Sinnamary fetched €1.1 million at last year's Arqana August Sale and her full-sister also broke the six-figure barrier when selling to Coolmore at this year's renewal for €1 million. Sinnamary & Chicquita are from the stakes-winning Dansili mare Prudenzia, herself a half-sister to French Gr3 winning mare Pacifique.
