Frankel Star Of New 3D Painting
The racing public will have the opportunity to view a unique 3D artwork of champion racehorse Frankel at British Champions Day at Ascot this Saturday, reports 1.skysports.com. Artist Chris Levine, who is famous for his portraits of The Queen & supermodel Kate Moss, unveiled his latest artwork 'Frankel the Great' with Juddmonte Racing Manager Lord Teddy Grimthorpe. Grimthorpe said that the artwork was not what he was expecting, but that it "grows on you." "The artwork is wonderful," he said. "I have stood and looked at it for half an hour and it has really captured Frankel's character. You always know when Frankel's in the room and this artwork demonstrates this. I think it will be of great interest to a lot of people." Levine chose to unveil his work at Ascot because it was the scene of many of Frankel's victories, including his memorable career finale in last year's Gr1 Champion Stakes on British Champions Day.
