Makybe Diva Tests Positive To All Too Hard

Friday, 18th October 2013

In significant breeding news, Makybe principals Tony & Deslee Santic have confirmed that their three-time Melbourne Cup winning mare Makybe Diva (Desert King-Tugela, by Riverman) has returned a positive 30-day pregnancy test to freshman stallion All Too Hard. In what is obviously a very exciting time for the Victorian-based racing & breeding operation, Makybe likewise revealed that Makybe Diva's celebrated dam, Tugela (Riverman), has also been covered by All Too Hard (Casino Prince-Helsinge, by Desert Sun). The 4YO half-brother to Black Caviar retired to Vinery Stud this year after winning 7 of his 12 starts, including the Gr1 ATC All Aged Stakes, Gr1 MRC Futurity Stakes, Gr1 CF Orr Stakes & Gr1 Caulfield Guineas. All Too Hard's 2013 service fee is $66,000.
