186 Juveniles Put Through Their Paces At Te Rapa

Wednesday, 23rd October 2013

In New Zealand yesterday, the remaining 186 of 392 juveniles were put through their breeze-ups on the second day of gallops for the upcoming NZB Ready To Run Sale which will be held from November 19 at Karaka. With the track upgraded to a Good 3, the average time improved marginally to 10.82sec over that of the first day where it was 10.85sec for the last 200m. As was the case on Day-1, the two fastest runs were recorded by a duo in a single heat, with Westbury Stud's pairing of Lot 252 (Red Giant) & Lot 398 (Align) recording 10.00sec and 10.01, respectively. Times for all the consigned 2YOs are available on the NZB website, as will footage be of the breeze-ups.
