Fasig-Tipton Day-2: Average Up 36%
At Tuesday's second session of the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearlings Sale at Lexington, 273 yearlings were sold for a total of US$10,025,400, with an average of US$36,723 (up 36 per cent) and a median of US$18,000 (up 28 per cent). The day's highest-priced yearling was a colt by Distorted Humor from Annasan which fetched $500,000 to the bid of Conquest Stables. Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, the colt is a half-brother to stakes winners A Bit O'Gold, Arco's Gold & Adjalah.
