At Warrnambool in Victoria, Coolmore's former dual Champion Australian Sire Encosta De Lago (Fairy King-Shoal Creek, by Star Way) added a black-type success when 5YO mare Kneeling (Encosta de Lago-Sunday Service, by Sunday Silence) scored by 0.1-length for trainer Peter Moody in the $150,000 Listed Wangoom Handicap (1200m) for 3YO+, over 6YO NZ-bred gelding Blackie (Black Minnaloushe-Diamond Babe, by Stravinsky) & 4YO gelding Magnus Reign (Magnus-Vain Hill, by Danehill). Kneeling took her record to 4 wins (including the Listed William Crockett Stakes) and 6 placings (including the Gr3 Bow Mistress Trophy) from 26 starts for $298,520 earnings. Kneeling was a $340,000 purchase at the 2010 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the draft of Kitchwin Hills.
